mbg Moves

Noticing readers’ interest in more at-home workouts in 2020, I lead the launch of a new fitness franchise for mindbodygreen called mbg Moves. Every month features a different trainer we admire. We release a new workout video, article, and social post each week.

WH Workouts

In my time as a fitness editor at Women’s Health, I led our digital fitness relaunch. This featured a new photo/video set, better user experience, and a wide array of top-notch trainers. The end result was a new collection of workout videos, articles, and social media content (still integral to WH).

Packages & Tentpoles

Women’s Health Food Weeks

As part of my food editor role, I helped organize a week of themed content, created a sellable package, plus organized photo shoots for custom graphics and multi-media visuals. Notable themed food weeks include: Breakfast Week & Healthy Snacks Week. One notable story from snack week: Mix-And-Match Protein Cookies.

Women’s Health Activewear Week

In addition to a number of food-centric themed weeks, I also helped facilitate fitness-themed weeks, such as our yearly Activewear Week. This included a mix of clothing and accessory roundups, trend reports, and personal essays. The story above on sisterhood leggings was part of the lineup in 2019.

Women’s Health Fitness Challenges

I facilitated a number of popular fitness challenges at Women’s Health, featuring notable trainers and instructors. The most recent examples include The 30-Day Pushup Challenge and Burpee Challenge. Many challenges were featured across multiple platforms—print, digital, social media—and even had a dedicated group on Facebook.
